The ecuadorian government sent six tons of food and water to the Galapagos Islands on Monday. These supplies where sent to the coastal settlements that suffered the impact from the tsunami generated by Japan's earthquake. The National Risk Managment Secretrariat (SNGR), estimated that there are 260 families from fishermen whose boats where destroid by the waves in the Santa Cruz and San Cristobal Islands.
